GDP grew 0.5% in Q2 2026 on the previous quarter (seasonally adjusted) and 2.0% on the same quarter a year earlier; 1.9% over four quarters.

GDP is the value of everything the economy produced in the quarter, computed by IBGE in the Quarterly National Accounts. Changes are in VOLUME (net of inflation); the value in reais is at current prices. It comes out about two months after the quarter ends and may be revised in later releases.
