Oil and gas production per operator and field

In Sep 2026, the latest month loaded, Brazil's wells produced 4,708,277 barrels of oil per day (daily average rate) and 223.9 million m³ of natural gas per day.

Every operator of an oil and gas field in Brazil reports to ANP, every month, how much each well produced. ANP publishes that production well by well as open data. This page sums the wells by operator and by field and shows who produces how much, how much that weighs in the country and how much it changed against the same month a year earlier. It is production, not revenue: oil price, exchange rate and costs are left out.

Coverage. Up to Dec 2023 the data is ANP's complete monthly per-well file. ANP stopped publishing that file; from 2024 on, the per-well data on this page comes from MANUAL exports of ANP's public query (a CAPTCHA that this site never automates), so coverage is PARTIAL. Offshore (Mar) is loaded for Jan 2024 to Sep 2026. Onshore (Terra) is missing for: Jan 2024 to Aug 2025; so 2024 and 2025 have no onshore at all. Pre-salt files: none loaded, so the pre-salt share is not shown for those months. Where Terra is missing the month is labelled 'offshore only', no operator ranking adds Mar to a missing Terra and no 12-month change is computed against a month with a different scope. For months with an ANP Monthly Bulletin (up to Aug 2026) and no Terra file, the operators come from the Bulletin (all operators, offshore + onshore, no field).

What the source published is the daily average rate of each well. Our calculations are the sums per operator and per field, the share of the national total, the change against the same month a year earlier, the pre-salt share and the conversion of Mm³ to million m³. It is a regulator aggregate that nobody rebuilds from a public company filing, so it lives in the Macro section.
